Our Story
About Me
My journey with reflexology began over 30 years ago during a workshop, when a simple press on my big toe brought immense relief to a persistent neck pain. That moment sparked a passion that has guided my path ever since.
After many fulfilling years working in early years education and as a forest school practitioner, while also raising my own family, I learned a great deal about the power of connection and communication. These lessons have shaped my belief that interconnection, from a cellular level upwards, is at the heart of our well-being. In 2016, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and retrain as a reflexologist - a decision that has been both inspiring and transformative.
Discovering how to work with the body to support its natural healing processes has been awe-inspiring. My curiosity has only grown, leading me to further explore the many ways reflexology can benefit people from all walks of life. Most recently, I have further extended my knowledge and skill studying for a further 2 yrs to qualify as a Craniosacral Reflexologist, a practice that works through the feet to access the spinal cord, head, and brain.
The more I learn about what impacts our ability to live our best lives, the more passionate I become about supporting others on their journeys. My ongoing training in a variety of holistic techniques allows me to offer tailored support, listening closely, offering guidance, and - where possible - raising awareness.
Put it simply, I believe that by adjusting the landscape, we can improve the outcome.
As a reflexologist, I work alongside medical diagnoses, weaving together bespoke treatments designed to benefit the whole body and mind. I am committed to treating the whole person, not just a diagnosis or condition.
What Does Reflexology Do?
Reflexology is a non-invasive therapy applied to the feet, face or hands. By understanding how the body’s systems interact, I use my knowledge to support a wide range of symptoms related to stress and trauma - whether physical or emotional - encouraging the body’s natural equilibrium.
Reflexology in its many forms can help release tension, promote relaxation and improve sleep. These are essential elements for supporting the smooth functioning of all our bodily systems, paving the way for improved mood and overall well-being. After all, who wouldn’t want to live with greater inner peace? Promoting such peace can start right here.
How Does Reflexology Work?
Reflexology is based on the principle that all body systems, organs, and glands correspond to reflex points found on the feet, hands and face. By applying pressure to these points, circulation to the related organs is enhanced, supporting the body’s innate drive for balance. The stresses and strains of everyday life can cause disconnect; releasing this tension helps restore well-being.
Feel the difference, see the difference, be the difference.
Choosing the Right Reflexology for You
We’ll begin with an informal chat and a medical form, so I can understand your needs and tailor your treatment accordingly. All of my Therapeutic Reflexology and Complementary treatments can be enjoyed as stand-alone therapies, and certain therapeutic options can be blended for the ultimate relaxation experience. If you’re looking to address a long-term condition, I may recommend a series of craniosacral or therapeutic reflexology treatments for best results.
To tailor make your treatment, a one to one consultation is advised.
Craniosacral Reflexology
